What is a LongYou 'Matrix'?
A ‘Matrix’ refers to the master template in printmaking, where prints of different styles and quality can be made from. In LongYou, Matrix is a physical copy of your photos library that is portable, long-lasting, shelf-stable, and forward compatible. You can browse photos and videos in your Matrix directly on your computer, or reconstitute them to full resolution using an AI enabled photo enhancement service.
Photos and videos in a Matrix are transcoded into open formats(JPG and MP4) that are compatible with any computer. Matrix uses high quality archiving grade DVDs that are rated to be shelf stable for 100 years. These discs are compatible with standard DVD drives.
Photos and videos are resized to 640x480 pixels and backed up in medium quality. It resembles the size and resolution of a physical 4x6 photo. Below are sample images and videos in a LongYou Matrix (click on the thumbnails to view).
